Now, more than ever, good hygiene is vital.

I’ve always practiced high standards of hygiene and feel it’s important to highlight what I do to keep you, my clients, safe.

Firstly and most importantly, my brushes are deep cleaned at the end of each day with antibacterial soap and warm water. To avoid multi-use, I stock multiples of each type of brush in my kit and, on a wedding morning, each person has their own set of brushes in a numbered pot. Box fresh sponges and new clean puffs are used for each application.

Disposable wands are used for mascara and I also stock disposable applicators for lipstick, gloss, eyeshadow, and liner, if needed.

All cream and liquid products are decanted from their packaging to avoid double dipping. Powders and eyeshadows are spritzed with an antibacterial make-up spray to sanitise between clients. Pencils are freshly sharpened for every use.

Kit cases and storage boxes are cleaned regularly to avoid build-up, and in my studio surfaces are wiped down between clients. If I’m on location at a client’s home or wedding venue, I lay clean towels on surfaces to work off.

And of course, hands are washed and sanitised before, and during, applications.
